Recap: Marshall Christian Academy Guardians vs. Atlanta Rabbits
After soaring to 62 points the game before, the Marshall Christian Academy Guardians were a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Atlanta, falling 81-23.
Marshall Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Melody Hester, who scored 8 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madelyn Hester, who scored 6 points.
Marshall Christian Academy bumped their record down to 4-2 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Atlanta, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Marshall Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Mt. Enterprise at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. Mt. Enterprise has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 7. As for Atlanta, they will square off against Clarksville at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. Clarksville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
