Baseball Recap: Erie's Win Ends Seven-Game Losing Streak on the Road

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Wednesday as neither Erie nor Warren made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Royals had just enough and edged out the Dragons 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Royals have posted since May 1, 2024.

Erie saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Benedict, who went 2-for-4 with one triple. Another was Antonio Colao, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.
