Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Broken Arrow couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost to the Putnam City North Panthers on the road by a 64-47 margin on Friday. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Broken Arrow still got an impressive performance from McKenzie Mathurin, who went 10-for-24 en route to 31 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Rekiah Bowen, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 11 points along with eight boards and three blocks.

Putnam City North was led to victory by Haniya Geretta and Kiana Gray. Geretta posted 15 points and three steals, while Gray had 18 points and four steals. Gray has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. Brandie Harrod was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Broken Arrow's defeat dropped their record down to 26-3. As for Putnam City North, the win (which was their 20th in a row) raised their record to 28-1.
