Volleyball Recap: Chesnee Extends Winning Streak to Four

Chesnee extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping them up to 18-4-1. They put the hurt on the Landrum Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

Maggie Foy was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 16 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more digs the last three times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Chesnee was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in four consecutive matches.

As for Landrum, their defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-8-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since September 24, 2024.

Despite the loss, Landrum still got an impressive performance from Ella Wilkie, who had five digs and four aces.
