Football Recap: Mainland Gets the Win + How To Watch

After losing to Coffee the last time they met, Mainland decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Buccaneers came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 14-7 on Friday.

Sebastian Johnson had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 275 yards and two TDs, while also rushing for 40 yards. A healthy portion of Johnson's aerial production (92 yards to be exact) went to Chris Butler, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Mainland's record now sits at 3-1. As for Coffee, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Mainland and Coffee will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Buccaneers will take on rival Matanzas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Coffee is set to face off against their familiar foe Northside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
