Knox City beats Northside for their eighth straight win

The Knox City Greyhounds put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They blew past Northside, posting a 62-0 victory on the road. The result was nothing new for Knox City, who have now won seven contests by 45 points or more so far this season.

Knox City was led to victory by Cameron Hernandez and Bryson Callaway. Hernandez gained 73 total yards and two touchdowns, while Callaway threw for 86 yards and three touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes. Tristin Baxter was in the mix too, providing Knox City with two touchdowns.

Knox City's victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 53 points. As for Northside, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Knox City will square off against Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 39th, while Knox City is ranked first). As for Northside, they will head out on the road to face off against Spur at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
