Recap: Broken Arrow Tigers vs. Stillwater Pioneers
The Broken Arrow Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season. They blew past Stillwater 70-47. Winning may never get old, but Broken Arrow sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
McKenzie Mathurin was her usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with three steals. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Broken Arrow's points. Taryn Jacobs was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Broken Arrow has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Stillwater, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
Broken Arrow and Southmoore will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Southmoore will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 316th, while Broken Arrow is ranked 115th).
