Soccer Recap: Robinson Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Robinson has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They fell 2-0 to the South County Stallions on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against South County this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Thursday.

Robinson's loss dropped their record down to 10-4-1. As for South County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-2-1.

Robinson and South County should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. The Rams (ranked 33rd) will meet Annandale (ranked 142nd) at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, South County will take on Justice at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (40 vs. 276).
