Volleyball Recap: Kinley Brown Key Part of Team Effort in Lions Win

Plaza Heights Christian Academy won the last time they faced Heartland and things went their way on Friday too. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mustangs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Plaza Heights Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kinley Brown, who had three aces. What's more, Brown posted four kills, the most she's had over her last five matchups. Viviana McKay was another key player, getting seven assists and two aces.

Plaza Heights Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 15-9-1. As for Heartland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-23 record this season.

Plaza Heights Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against The Daniel Academy on the 24th. As for Heartland, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Center Place on the 24th.
