Softball Recap: Randolph Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Randolph can now relate to. They came up short against the Johnson Creek Bluejays on Tuesday, falling 16-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Rockets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Randolph has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Johnson Creek, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-2-1.

Randolph does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Johnson Creek, they will challenge Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah on Thursday. The Resorters have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.71 runs per game on average), something the Bluejays will no doubt try to take advantage of.
