Preview: Taylor Allderdice Dragons vs. McDowell Trojans
Taylor Allderdice is 6-1 against McDowell since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Taylor Allderdice Dragons will look to defend their home court against the McDowell Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Taylor Allderdice scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 100-21 win over Westinghouse. Winning may never get old, but Taylor Allderdice sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Logan Golle continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. He hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Major Rainey, who scored 16 points along with three steals and two blocks.
Meanwhile, McDowell came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Fort LeBoeuf 67-24 on the road. That looming 67-24 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for McDowell yet this season.
Taylor Allderdice's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for McDowell, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything went Taylor Allderdice's way against McDowell in their previous meeting back in March of 2022 as Taylor Allderdice made off with a 64-43 win. Does Taylor Allderdice have another victory up their sleeve, or will McDowell turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
