Softball Recap: New Trier Takes a Loss

The New Trier Trevians didn't have quite enough to beat the Stevenson Patriots on Friday and fell 10-9. That's two games in a row now that the Trevians have lost by just one run.

This is the second loss in a row for New Trier and nudges their season record down to 3-3. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only one runs. As for Stevenson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

New Trier will be playing at home against Evanston at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stevenson, they will head out on the road to face off against Waukegan at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
