Basketball Recap: Dominic Fogo's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Good Samaritan Homeschool over Tournament Opponent

If Good Samaritan HomeSchool was feeling good fresh off their 56-17 takedown of Jackson HomeSchool last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Good Samaritan HomeSchool Hornets fell just short of Tournament Opponent by a score of 46-43 on Friday. The Hornets' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Dominic Fogo, who went 5 for 10 en route to 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Fogo is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. George Fogo was another key player, putting up nine points and five steals.

Even though they lost, Good Samaritan HomeSchool smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 21 consecutive games.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4.
