While Highland Home put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Calhoun. The Flying Squadron claimed a resounding 42-0 victory over the Tigers. The Flying Squadron haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Brody Phillips had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 129 yards and four TDs on only seven carries, while also picking up 42 receiving yards. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

The victory got Highland Home back to even at 5-5. As for Calhoun, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Highland Home will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Reeltown at 7:00 p.m. on November 7. As for Calhoun, they will face off against Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44.78 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
