Baseball Recap: Page County Takes a Loss

Page County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Central Woodstock Falcons, falling 10-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 5-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Page County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Central Woodstock, they pushed their record up to 4-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Page County is set to challenge their familiar foe Clarke County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Central Woodstock will square off against rival Madison County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
