Volleyball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Westlake Charter Explorers.

Edgar Paredes paced Franklin's offense, picking up three kills. Paredes got some help from Tyrone Adams and his three assists.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 6-25. As for Westlake Charter, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Franklin has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Wheatland on the 19th. As for Westlake Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Ben Holt College Prep Academy on the 19th.
