Football Recap: Heidelberg Piles Up the Points Against Enterprise + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Heidelberg). They blew past the Enterprise Bulldogs 58-0 on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Oilers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi football rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 155th).

Chase Craft produced another solid performance throwing for 321 yards and four TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushing for 30 yards and one score. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. Kaden Porter was another key player, rushing for 63 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries.

Heidelberg's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Madaylan Mckenzie with two sacks. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.3 total tackles per game.

Heidelberg's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Enterprise, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Heidelberg will face off against Mize at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Oilers will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Enterprise, they will take on Bay Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bay Springs' defense has only allowed 14.2 points per game this season, so Enterprise's offense will have their work cut out for them.
