Recap: King Wolves vs. Norco Cougars
The King Wolves had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Norco by a score of 85-74 on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
King got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Justin Brayard out in front who scored 23 points. Brayard continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Mathias Tinker was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
King's win bumped their record up to 10-16. As for Norco, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.
King will be playing at home against Santiago at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Norco, they will head out on the road to take on Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
