While Luverne's victory against Redwood Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Luverne skirted past Redwood Valley 4-3. The win continues a trend for Luverne in their matchups with Redwood Valley: they've now won nine in a row.

Blake Sauer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Sauer was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Landyn Lais, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.

Luverne's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Redwood Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-10.
