Baseball Recap: Rowland Comes Up Short

Rowland fell victim to Notre Dame and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Titans by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-2 last Thursday.

Rowland's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Notre Dame, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rowland will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Charter Oak at 3:30 p.m. on April 8. As for Notre Dame, they will challenge Fontana at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be Notre Dame's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
