Softball Recap: Ridgevue Comes Up Short

Ridgevue was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-1 to the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies. If the Warhawks were looking for revenge after losing 19-1 to the Grizzlies when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ridgevue's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Rocky Mountain, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ridgevue will face off against rival Boise at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rocky Mountain is set to challenge their familiar foe Owyhee at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Grizzlies are on a three-game streak of home wins, the Storm a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
