Football Recap: Coastal Academy Piles Up the Points Against Orange Glen + How To Watch

Coastal Academy got themselves on the board against Orange Glen on Friday, but Orange Glen never followed suit. They blew past the Patriots 42-0. That 42 point margin sets a new team best for the Stingrays this season.

Nolan White had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 119 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 carries. Cody Terpstra was another key player, rushing for 33 yards and two TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Coastal Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 285 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Orange Glen only rushed for 72.

Coastal Academy pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.6 points on average over those games. As for Orange Glen, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Coastal Academy will take on Escondido Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Orange Glen, they will face off against Victory Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
