Basketball Game Preview: Jemison Panthers vs. Shelby County Wildcats + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Jemison Panthers and the Shelby County Wildcats will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Jemison sitting on four straight wins and Shelby County on three.

Last Thursday, Jemison didn't have too much trouble with Thorsby as they won 48-33.

Jemison's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trinity Bean, who posted 21 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Bean has scored at least a third of the Panthers' points. Another player making a difference was Caiana Lucas, who scored 13 points along with five boards and three steals.

Meanwhile, Shelby County got the win against Center Point last Tuesday by a conclusive 56-32. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 24 points or more this season.

Shelby County's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Jemison, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-1.

Jemison suffered a grim 57-37 defeat to Shelby County in their previous matchup back in January. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
