Soccer Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Lone Jack's Third in Last Four Outings

Lone Jack proved they can win big on Monday (they won by eight) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand the Faith Christian Academy Knights a 1-0 shutout. Trayton Hook had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Lone Jack.

Lone Jack has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four matchups. As for Faith Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Lone Jack will challenge La Monte at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Lone Jack will be up against La Monte's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.75 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Faith Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
