Soccer Recap: Tulare Western Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dinuba last Friday, Tulare Western came back down to earth. The Tulare Western Mustangs fell just short of the Hanford Bullpups by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bullpups earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Carlos Sanchez and Izaac Ruiz scored both of Tulare Western's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Tulare Western's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-5. As for Hanford, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6-3.

Tulare Western will square off against Lemoore at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tulare Western is facing Lemoore at the right time seeing as Lemoore is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Hanford, they will challenge Mission Oak at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
