Basketball Game Preview: Valley Union Blue Devils vs. Duncan Wildkats

The Valley Union Blue Devils will venture away from home to take on the Duncan Wildkats at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Monday, Valley Union had to suffer through a 44-17 loss at the hands of Tombstone. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Yellow Jackets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Duncan unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 49-36 to Willcox.

Valley Union's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Duncan, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-5.

Valley Union came up short against Duncan in their previous matchup back in January, falling 34-28. Can Valley Union avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
