Basketball Recap: Webb City Takes a Loss

Webb City lost against Parkview back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Webb City Cardinals took a blow against the Parkview Vikings, falling 70-37. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-11.

Despite the loss, Webb City still got an impressive performance from Holton Keith, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds. The match was Keith's fifth in a row with at least 16 points. Eli Pace was another key player, putting up eight points.

Webb City's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Parkview, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cardinals face off against the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Webb City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60 points per game this season. As for Parkview, they will host Neosho at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
