Football Recap: Coastal Christian HomeSchool Badgers vs. Runge Yellowjackets
Coastal Christian HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 70-26 loss at the hands of the Runge Yellowjackets. One positive for the Badgers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Coastal Christian HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Runge, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coastal Christian HomeSchool's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Benavides at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Runge, they will welcome Annapolis Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Annapolis Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Runge likes a good challenge.
