Basketball Recap: Chesaning Comes Up Short

Chesaning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 28-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valley Lutheran Chargers. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Chesaning's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Valley Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chesaning has already played their next match (against Birch Run), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Valley Lutheran will face off against Carrollton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Valley Lutheran is facing Carrollton at the right time seeing as Carrollton is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
