Softball Recap: Zion Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Zion Christian Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Indianapolis Bishop Chatard on Saturday. The Eagles fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 10-9. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bella Waller made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. Raleigh Blanks also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.

Zion Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Zion Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-9 loss against Tournament Opponent on the 12th. As for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Forrest on the 12th.
