Sibley East came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Lester Prairie Bulldogs. Ten seems to be a good number for the Wolverines as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Sibley East pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lester Prairie, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Looking ahead, Sibley East will host Waterville-Elysian-Morristown at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wolverines are facing the Buccaneers at the right time seeing as the Buccaneers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Lester Prairie, they will take on Sleepy Eye at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
