Baseball Recap: Sullivan East Comes Up Short

Sullivan East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-1 to the Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Fighting Cyclones this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-1 defeat back in April.

Sullivan East's loss dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Elizabethton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Sullivan East nor Elizabethton have any future games scheduled.
