Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Highland). Everything went their way against the Canyon Ridge Riverhawks on Saturday as they made off with a 15-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Rams sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Kai Jones looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Preston Foltz and Cannon Eddie did most of the damage at the plate: Foltz went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run, while Eddie went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most hits Foltz has posted since back in April of 2024. Mason Payne was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Highland was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .519. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Highland's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Canyon Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Highland beat the Riverhawks by a score of 12-1 later that day.
