Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Chenango Forks walked away with it. They walked away with  a   54-42  victory over the Walton Warriors  on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  51-37  back in January.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chenango Forks to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Ethan Vaseleck, who  went 6-for-15  to rack up 18 points and five  blocks. With that strong performance,  Vaseleck is now averaging an impressive 2  blocks per game.  Brady Vaseleck was another key player,  shooting 47% from the field en route to 19  points.
 Chenango Forks  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 13  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least nine  offensive boards in six consecutive  games.
Chenango Forks is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record  this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 50.2 points over those games. Walton's loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
 Looking ahead, Chenango Forks will face off against Dryden at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Walton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
