Volleyball Recap: Rockledge Comes Up Short

Rockledge's tournament run continued when they took on Lyman on Saturday. The Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greyhounds. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-15.

Taylor Mertz paced Rockledge's offense, picking up five kills. Mertz got some help from Avianna Gaboury and her six assists.

Rockledge's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Lyman, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-14.

Rockledge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Bayside on the 6th. As for Lyman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against University on the 8th.
