Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask First Coast Christian). They claimed a resounding 80-40 victory over the Covenant School of Jacksonville Warriors. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 22 points or more this season.

First Coast Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but David Ellis Jr. led the charge by going 7 of 11 on his way to 14 points along with seven assists and six steals. Ellis Jr. is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tahrell Gilbert, who went 8 for 11 en route to 20 points in addition to six assists and four steals.

First Coast Christian now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Covenant School of Jacksonville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

First Coast Christian will welcome Eagle's View at 8:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Covenant School of Jacksonville, they will venture away from home to square off against Beaches Chapel at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
