Baseball Game Preview: Scarsdale Raiders vs. Blind Brook Trojans

The Scarsdale Raiders will face off against the Blind Brook Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Scarsdale is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering John Jay just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 12-1.

Meanwhile, Blind Brook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-7 to Tuckahoe.

Elliott Zwicker was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Blind Brook: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 0-3 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Glantz, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Blind Brook's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Scarsdale, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
