Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Conrad). They put the hurt on the Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles with a sharp 28-6 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won nine matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Conrad's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 11-8. As for Wilmer-Hutchins, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Conrad will challenge Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Wilmer-Hutchins, they will venture away from home to square off against North Dallas at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
