Academy for Technology and The Classics will face off against the Bosque Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Academy for Technology and The Classics has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 7.
Last Thursday, Academy for Technology and The Classics came up short against West Las Vegas and fell 66-59.

Despite their loss, Academy for Technology and The Classics saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Cayleb Blea, who went 5-for-9 en route to 16 points and three steals, was perhaps the best of all. What's more, Blea also posted a 56% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Joseph Trujillo III was another key player, going 5-for-11 to rack up 14 points.
Even though they lost, Academy for Technology and The Classics smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Bosque over Sandia Prep in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Bosque blew Sandia Prep out of the water with a 59-32 final score. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.
Academy for Technology and The Classics better focus on containing Jordan Kruft and Josiah Wilson as the pair were huge in Bosque's win. Kruft made all 7 shots he took racking up 16 points and three steals, while Wilson almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. Wilson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Oliver Tumolo, who posted ten points and seven boards.
Academy for Technology and The Classics' defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Bosque, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.
Academy for Technology and The Classics was dealt a bruising 62-30 loss at the hands of Bosque when the teams last played back in January of 2020. Can Academy for Technology and The Classics avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
