MaxPreps and DonJoy have teamed up to honor the best high school football players in the nation coming into the 2016 season. They come from many different schools and many different states - but they all are immense talents.

DL – Marvin Wilson, 6-5, 315, Episcopal (Bellaire, Texas)
The nation's No. 3 senior recruit overall and No. 1 defensive tackle has 26 college offers, including Alabama, Florida State and LSU. He had 15 sacks as a sophomore and was even better last year. He's yet to make a college commitment.

DL – A.J. Epenesa, 6-3, 230, Edwardsville (Ill.)
A MaxPreps junior all-American last season, Epenesa has already committed to Iowa. Twenty-five percent of the No. 18 overall recruit's tackles were behind the line of scrimmage.

DL – K'lavon Chaisson, 6-4, 220, North Shore (Houston)
Another MaxPreps junior all-American last season, Chaisson led North Shore to a state 6A-I title. He has 23 college offers, but appears to be headed to either Oklahoma, Houston, LSU or Texas.

DL — Chase Young, 6-5, 225, DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.)
Ranked the third-best senior defensive end in the nation, Young leads the country's No. 19 team heading into 2016. DeMatha coach Elijah Brooks said of Young: "He's one of the most competitive kids I've ever coached. Whether it's at practice or camps or games, he doesn't take a play off. He likes to mix it up." Young has 41 offers, but Maryland, Ohio State and Alabama appear to be front-runners.

DL – Haskell Garrett, 6-2, 298, Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas)
The nation's No. 4 defensive tackle has already committed to Ohio State. In two seasons for the country's No. 3 team, Garrett has 132 tackles and 17.5 sacks.
LB – Dylan Moses, 6-3, 225, IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.)
The nation's No. 2 recruit overall transferred from University Lab (Baton Rouge, La.), where last season he had 104 tackles and two sacks. Of his 40 college offers, LSU, which offered him as an eighth grader, Alabama and Texas appear to be front-runners. Said IMG Academy coach Kevin Wright on Moses' athletic ability: "You can't coach or even comprehend what he has."

LB – Drew Singleton, 6-3, 215, Paramus Catholic (N.J.)
The 2015 Under Armour All-American will begin his fourth season on the varsity team. He's ranked the 63rd-top player overall in the country and has 24 offers, though Michigan appears to have the inside track.

LB – Anthony Hines III, 6-3, 222, Plano East (Texas)
A MaxPreps junior all-American last season, the country's top-ranked inside linebacker averaged 20.5 tackles per game and recorded a whopping 24 tackles for loss. He already has 395 tackles in his three-year career. He reportedly has 90 college offers.



LB – VanDarius Cowan, 6-4, 230, Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.)
The nation's fifth-ranked outside linebacker was an early Alabama commit. He pledged to the Crimson Tide over 30 other schools on April 9.

LB – Bruce Jordan-Swilling, 6-0, 215, Brother Martin (New Orleans)
The son of former New Orleans Saints all-pro Pat Swilling, Bruce is ranked the ninth-best outside linebacker in the country. He has 27 offers, but LSU and Alabama appear to have the inside track. On top of his defensive prowess, he's rushed for 1,594 yards and 28 touchdowns in two seasons.

DB – Jeffrey Okudah, 6-2, 190, South Grand Prairie (Texas)
Rated the No. 1 senior safety in the country, Okudah was a MaxPreps junior all-American last season. He has 34 college offers, but Ohio State, Stanford and Alabama appear at the top of his list.

DB – DeAngelo Gibbs, 6-2, 204, Grayson (Loganville, Ga.)
A transfer from Peachtree Ridge, Gibbs was a MaxPreps junior all-American last season. He now joins the nation's No. 2 team heading into 2015. The top recruit from Georgia has 33 offers and Georgia and Tennessee appear to have the best shot at landing him.

DB – Amir Riep, 6-1, 185, Colerain (Cincinnati)
The top-ranked player for the No. 14 team in the country, Riep has almost 50 college offers but appears to be leaning to Ohio State or Michigan state. His coach Tom Bolden said of Riep, "He's as good as it gets at his position. He has all the tools."

DB – Xavier McKinney, 6-1, 185, Roswell (Ga.)
Ranked the 11th-best safety in the 2017 class, his coach John Ford greatly disagrees: "I'm biased of course, but I think he's the best free safety in America. He's got range, he's physical, has good ball instincts. He's the total package." He plays for the country's No. 7 squad this season and in 2017 he's committed to Alabama.
DB – Isaiah Pryor, 6-2, 195, IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.)
The nation's No. 3 safety has already committed to Ohio State. He'll head up one of the nation's top defensive backfields for the country's fourth-ranked team.

P – Pressley Harvin III, 6-0, 235, Sumter (S.C.)
A Georgia State commit, Harvin averaged just short of 44 yards per punt last year with an average hang time of 4.48 seconds.

AP – Shawn Robinson, 6-1, 213, DeSoto (Texas)
The dual-threat quarterback transferred from Denton and he figures to add a bunch to his already impressive career totals of 7,216 yards of total offense and 81 touchdowns. Of the TCU commit, DeSoto coach Todd Peterman said: "He's an incredible talent and a student of the game. It's a little different offense than he's used to but much more similar to TCU where he's going. Obviously, it's a good fit."

AP – Avery Davis, 6-1, 195, Cedar Hill (Texas)
Another dual-threat quarterback, Davis leads the nation's No. 5 team after passing for 1,966 yards and 22 touchdowns last year and rushing for 934 and 13 more scores. He's committed to Notre Dame. "He's smart and that's why Notre Dame wants him," Cedar Hill coach Joey McGuire said. "He's a true leader."

AP – Jamyest Williams, 5-9, 180, Grayson (Loganville, Ga.)
Though listed as a defensive back and running back, Williams is ranked the sixth-best cornerback in the country. He'll play both for the nation's No. 2 team in 2016. Williams has 49 college offers, led by Georgia and Clemson. He starred at Archer last season.

AP — Tua Tagovailoa, 6-1, 215, St. Louis (Honolulu)
The nation's No. 2-ranked dual threat quarterback has thrown for 5,515 yards and 57 touchdowns in 20 games. He's also rushed for 1,057 yards and 11 touchdowns. He committed to Alabama on May 2.

AP – Ryan Jones, 6-3, 219, Mallard Creek (Charlotte, N.C.)
The North Carolina commit will be a big contributor for the country's No. 10 team at both receiver and safety. His top position is at safety. He's ranked the ninth-best all-around athlete in the country.
