Basketball Recap: Drew's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After losing to San Francisco Waldorf the last time they met, Drew decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Drew Dragons enjoyed a cozy 72-56 victory over the San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Drew to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nicholas Ordonez-Reyes, who went 8 of 12 on his way to 22 points in addition to six boards and three steals. The contest was Ordonez-Reyes' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Max Nadler, who went 6 for 12 en route to 19 points and seven rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why San Francisco Waldorf lost, don't look at Ben Sarig. Despite the final result, he went 11 of 18 on his way to 27 points. The dominant performance gave Sarig a new career-high in points. Sam Kite was another key player, putting up 11 points.
