The Tussey Mountain Titans will square off against the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tussey Mountain will be strutting in after a victory while Berlin Brothersvalley will be coming in after a defeat.

Tussey Mountain is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They secured a 26-21 W over Northern Bedford County on Friday. The game was the first time the Titans have beaten the Panthers on their field since November 8, 2019.

Noah Lucko was his usual excellent self, rushing for 106 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Tussey Mountain is undefeated when Lucko posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 0-3 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Berlin Brothersvalley's offense. They fell 10-0 to Meyersdale on Friday.

Even if they lost, Berlin Brothersvalley's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Ryan Janidlo refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.

Berlin Brothersvalley's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Tussey Mountain, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Tussey Mountain has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 173.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Berlin Brothersvalley struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 166 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
