After a string of eight wins, Manvel's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 57-51 to the Lancaster Tigers.

Lancaster's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Makenzie White, who posted 18 points and five boards. White continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Journee Hampton was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to four steals and three blocks.

Manvel's loss dropped their record down to 13-2. As for Lancaster, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Manvel will square off against Dobie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lancaster, they will venture away from home to take on Ontario Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
