Basketball Recap: Fair Play Piles Up the Points Against Everton

Fair Play won the last time they faced Everton and things went their way on Monday too. The Fair Play Hornets took their game with ease, bagging a 71-43 victory over the Everton Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Hornets have posted since December 6, 2024.

Despite the defeat, Everton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Joshua Daniels almost dropped a double-double on 27 points and nine rebounds. That was a full 62.8% of Everton's points, marking the 17th time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Fair Play moved to 4-13 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Everton, their loss was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-19.

Fair Play won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Hermitage at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Everton, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Greenfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
