Basketball Recap: Southern Regional Takes a Loss

Southern Regional and Cherokee squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Southern Regional had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 59-29 loss at the hands of the Cherokee Chiefs. The match marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Southern Regional has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. Cherokee is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Southern Regional nor Cherokee have any future games scheduled.
