South Broward came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Fort Lauderdale Flying L. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was South Broward who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 21-25, 25-23, 19-25, 15-11.

South Broward pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Fort Lauderdale, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
