Basketball Recap: Mulberry Grove Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Mulberry Grove Aces were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-48 to the Neoga Indians.

Mulberry Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Neoga, their victory bumped their record up to 6-22.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mulberry Grove will venture away from home to take on Gillespie at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Neoga, they will face off against Tuscola at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tuscola knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Neoga likes a good challenge.
