The Christian Home Educators Fellowship Patriots came tearing into Friday's contest with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 61-54 victory over Austin Royals HomeSchool. Given Christian Home Educators Fellowship's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 46th in Louisiana, while Austin Royals HomeSchool is ranked 1262nd in Texas), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Tanner Rizan, who scored 25 points along with two steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Christian Home Educators Fellowship's points. Ian Davis was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Christian Home Educators Fellowship's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-1. As for Austin Royals HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.
