Basketball Recap: Cash Whitehead Key Part of Team Effort in Red Devils Win

The Jeffersonville Red Devils were able to grind out a solid victory over the Hughes BIG RED on Saturday, taking the game 48-41.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jeffersonville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cash Whitehead, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds. Jacob Wilkerson was another key player, putting up 11 points and five boards.

The win got Jeffersonville back to even at 1-1. As for Hughes, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Jeffersonville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-53 victory against Seymour on the 12th. As for Hughes, they have also already played their next contest, a 63-54 defeat against Aiken on the 9th.
