Softball Recap: St. Albans Red Dragons vs. Nitro Wildcats

St. Albans waltzed into their contest on Monday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Nitro Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for St. Albans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ava Bentley made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 17 over seven innings pitched. Bentley has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Bentley was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
